A company of people, People who care.
Philanthropic from day one
Since our founding, philanthropy and helping the community have been a part of the Xerox culture. Today,
we invest about $12.5 million each year. This includes grants in workforce preparedness, supporting science and
technology programs, and being involved in community projects. Additionally, our professionals volunteer with
more than 550 organizations around the world.
The Xerox Foundation
From our inception, Xerox has helped shape the idea of corporate social responsibility. Our education and social
service efforts reflect our belief that a successful corporation must be an active participant in society.
Xerox remains committed to a program of grants to colleges and universities that prepare qualified men and women for
careers in business, government and education. Xerox also is committed to furthering the advancement of knowledge in
science and technology and enhancing learning opportunities for all.
The Xerox Foundation is the hand that gives something back to the communities from which we draw our employees,
our customers, and our freedom to conduct business.
Xerox Community Involvement Program (XCIP)
This gives you management-supported opportunities to volunteer your time, talents and energies, either
individually or collectively, to help solve community problems. Since the program began in 1974, nearly 405,000
employees have participated in more than 15,000 projects, donating millions of volunteer hours. Each year,
nearly 1/3 of our U.S. workforce participates in this program.
Xerox Social Service Leave Program
If you’re deeply committed to social change, this gives you the opportunity to take a one-year paid sabbatical
to work in a social service program. Since 1974, we’ve granted sabbaticals of up to one year to
475 employees.
